The awarding of Deutscher Jazzpreis | Initiative Musik

Initiated by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) and realised by the Initiative Musik, the German Jazz Prize will be awarded for the first time next year. Special national and international artistic achievements in jazz will be honoured in 31 categories, and you can apply in 11 submission categories.

Monika Grütters, Minister of State for Culture, appointed an 11-member advisory board for the German Jazz Award, which played a major role in developing the concept.
